This a QCTP design I found on the web somewhere. I sized it to fit my 6" Atlas so the toolpost came out about 1.5" tall and 2" square. Behind the toolpost is what is left out of the chunk of steel I machined with a dovetail and cut all of the toolholders from. The threaded post on the left rear corner of the toolpost is a mount for the rod from my magnetic base. It provides a convenient spot for mounting a dial indicator.
Ed enjoys his Nikon digital camera which takes his old Nikon lenses. He also purchased a coupler to the 8 inch telescope for it. He has been having fun taking pictures of Roger & Larks lighthouse across the lake from us, This picture isn't that amazing until you realize the lighthouse is that little bump in the distance you can barely see on the picture on main page and on the one the view below.
