Drop Biscuits

 

2 c. flour *                     1 T. baking powder

1/2 t. salt                      1/4 c. shortening **

1 c. milk

 

Mix dry ingredients.  Cut in shortening.  Add milk,

and mix.  Drop onto greased cookie sheet.  Bake at 450 deg. for 12-15 minutes.  Makes 12. 120 Calories

 

Wheat Drop Biscuits

 

1 c. flour                        1 c. whole wheat flour     

1 T. baking powder  1/2 t. salt                  

2 T. shortening (no trans fat)

2 T. canola oil

1 c. milk

 

Mix dry ingredients.  Cut in shortening.  Add oil & milk,and mix.  Drop onto greased cookie sheet.  Bake at 450 deg. for 12-15 minutes.  Makes 12.
