Biscuits – Drop & Roll Out

2 c. flour 1 T. baking powder
½ t. salt ¼ c. shortening *
1 c. milk for drop or ¾ c. milk for roll out.
* may use part butter but no more than half.
Mix dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Add milk,
and mix. Lightly knead to mix and roll out or drop onto greased cookie sheet Bake at 450° for 12-15 minutes. Makes 12. 120 Calories
Wheat Drop Biscuits
1 c. flour 1 c. whole wheat flour
1 T. baking powder 1/2 t. salt
4 T. shortening
1 c. milk
Mix as above.
